Available Positions

Your main responsibilities:

  • To project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and employees.
  • To welcome customers and escort them correctly and speedily in the most courteous way.
  • To sense and anticipate guest needs and quickly respond to maximum satisfaction.
  • To confidently communicate with guests, offering and promoting services, events.
  • To seek and action customer feedback at every opportunity and learn from complaints.
  • To acknowledge and maintain the guest preference tracking file.
  • To be aware of the daily reservations and special occasions.
  • To handle and control reservations and guest recognition system.
  • To be fully conversant with the table lay out and mise en place prior to, during and after service.
  • To build the reputation of La Caleta by the means of personal appearance, continuous development of guest satisfaction and providing personal oriented service.
  • To delegate and assist setup waiters in order to set tables efficiently.
  • To assist the service team with their closing duties, resetting of the restaurant, preparations for the next service.
  • To have thorough knowledge of products served and services provided by the brand.

Requirements

  • Holder of EU passport, citizen of the EU
  • Graduate of a secondary school, preferably of hospitality specialized in table service. Graduate of a tertiary school of Hotel Management or Hotel and Catering School is an advantage
  • Two years of experience in similar work environment hosting, previous experience in fine dining restaurant or hotel environment as wait staff is desirable
  • Must speak English and Greek, Russian and other languages are considered an advantage
  • Familiar with hotel ware systems (Micros OS)

Your main responsibilities:

  • To understand and ensure that your subordinates also understand the ingredients, origins, combinations, methods of preparation, presentation and service of food products, drinks, wines, cocktails served and ensure that beverages are prepared according to the recipes.
  • To be responsible for the smooth beverage service and preparation of the venue, bar maintenance, take beverage and food orders around the bar counter, ensure guest satisfaction, prepare beverages promptly and timely, up to the highest standards, check if required dining ware is set on the counter, inquire with guest for refilling/refreshing beverages.
  • To prepare orders and ensure all are being prepared and prioritized.
  • In case servers are seemingly busy on the floor, assist with the service of beverages.
  • To ensure the proper handling of special requests (lactose free, fruit allergy, etc.). To check and ensure such requests are taken care extremely carefully and by avoiding all and any chance of cross contamination.
  • To thoroughly understand, adhere to and train on all standards of food safety, health & hygiene.
  • To be pro-active in maintaining and improving the business’ profitability, apply cost control tactics.
  • To assist the Supervisor with stock management practices, maintaining the pre-determined par stocks, preparing requisition sheets, taking inventories and control quality.
  • To sense and anticipate guest needs and quickly respond to maximum satisfaction.
  • To project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and employees.
  • To keep your areas well organized, clean and neat.

Requirements

  • Holder of EU passport, citizen of the EU
  • Graduate of a secondary school, preferably of hospitality specialized in table service. Graduate of a tertiary school of Hotel Management or Hotel and Catering School is an advantage
  • Diploma or certification in Bartending or Mixology
  • Throughout knowledge of Mediterranean beverage culture and products
  • Two years of experience in similar work environment
  • Must speak and write English fluently. Greek and Russian are considered an advantage
  • Knowledge, experience in a similar position preferably in luxury hotel service

Personal Qualifications

  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision

  • Capable of lifting, moving heavy objects up to 30kg if required in order to complete

Βασικά Προσόντα:

  • Να έχει καλές μαγειρικές δεξιότητες
  • Να γνωρίζει πολύ καλά όλα τα πιάτα στο μενού, τις συνταγές τους, τις μεθόδους παραγωγής και τα πρότυπα παρουσίασης τους
  • Γνώσεις ζαχαροπλαστικής
  • Να ακολουθεί τις οδηγίες και τις εντολές του προϊσταμένου του
  • Να διασφαλίζει ότι όλες συνταγές εκτελούνται σωστά Να κατανοεί και να εφαρμόζει όλες τις τυπικές διαδικασίες και πολιτικές που σχετίζονται με την προετοιμασία, την παραλαβή, την αποθήκευση και την υγιεινή τροφίμων, καθώς επίσης και όλων των κανονισμών H&S και HACCP Να ακολουθεί πιστά τα πρότυπα συντήρησης και τον σωστό χειρισμό τροφίμων στις σωστές θερμοκρασίες
