Your main responsibilities:

  • To set up all restaurant and lounge tables according to standards.
  • To smoothly carry out the assigned tasks and duties, by actively participating in the service and be vigilantly attentive to the details, food & beverage quality standards.
  • To sense and anticipate guest needs and quickly respond to maximum satisfaction.
  • To strive for guest satisfaction.
  • To have a thorough knowledge of products, brands, wine labels served in the outlets, special ‘items to sell’ and confidently describe them to the guests.
  • To be able to recommend beverages to match menu items and guest preferences and serve these according to the standards, applying upselling skills.
  • To deliver and serve drinks and food in a courteous manner.
  • To clear and re-set tables.
  • To keep your station well organized, clean and neat.
  • To polish all equipment and re-arrange back office to its standards.

Requirements

  • Holder of EU passport, citizen of the EU
  • Graduate of a secondary school, preferably of hospitality specialized in table service. Graduate of a tertiary school of Hotel Management or Hotel and Catering School is an advantage
  • Two years or seasons of experience in similar work environment, preferably with Mediterranean background
  • Knowledge, experience in a similar position of luxury hotel service is an advantage
  • Must speak and read English well. Greek, Russian and other languages are considered an advantage

Your main responsibilities:

  • To understand and ensure that your subordinates also understand the ingredients, origins, combinations, methods of preparation, presentation and service of food products, drinks, wines, cocktails served and ensure that beverages are prepared according to the recipes.
  • To be responsible for the smooth beverage service and preparation of the venue, bar maintenance, take beverage and food orders around the bar counter, ensure guest satisfaction, prepare beverages promptly and timely, up to the highest standards, check if required dining ware is set on the counter, inquire with guest for refilling/refreshing beverages.
  • To prepare orders and ensure all are being prepared and prioritized.
  • In case servers are seemingly busy on the floor, assist with the service of beverages.
  • To ensure the proper handling of special requests (lactose free, fruit allergy, etc.). To check and ensure such requests are taken care extremely carefully and by avoiding all and any chance of cross contamination.
  • To thoroughly understand, adhere to and train on all standards of food safety, health & hygiene.
  • To be pro-active in maintaining and improving the business’ profitability, apply cost control tactics.
  • To assist the Supervisor with stock management practices, maintaining the pre-determined par stocks, preparing requisition sheets, taking inventories and control quality.
  • To sense and anticipate guest needs and quickly respond to maximum satisfaction.
  • To project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and employees.
  • To keep your areas well organized, clean and neat.

  • Familiar with hotel ware systems (Micros OS)

Your main responsibilities:

  • Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  • To prepare, cook and present high quality dishes within the speciality section at all times.
  • To ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction through the production and preparation of food.
  • Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • To have a thorough knowledge of Mediterranean food products, their origin, and ensure his/her subordinates and team members confidently handle these products.
  • To ensure the standard recipes are being followed at all times.
  • To actively employ cost control tools on the day-to-day operations.
  • Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation, knowledge and employment of H&S and HACCP regulations.
  • To follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
  • To monitor portion and waste control.
  • To thoroughly understand, adhere to and train on all standards in food quality and safety, presentation, food intolerances, food hygiene practices.
  • To follow the guidelines of health, safety, hygiene and the HACCP system.
  • To ensure the daily supervision of all subordinates ensuring that their actions, duties and opening and closing duties are carried out in accordance with the pre-set procedures.
